This special effects sword hilt was used by Wesley Snipes as an insert for Blade’s costume and was worn throughout the production of the first movie.
Used for filling Blade’s back sheath to give it the appearance of having a full-length sword within, but allowing for a full range of movement during filming.
The piece is made up of a highly detailed sword handle with a polished metal blade that has been cut down.
