This prop ‘Gideon’s bible was used in Tom Cruise film Mission Impossible.
It plays a crucial part in the story of the film and was used in various scenes including when Ethan (Tom Cruise) tries to understand the meaning of the mission name: Job314, and later as the mystery unfolds during the films climax.
It is stamped inside the front cover to look as if it has come from the ‘Drake Hotel’ in Chicago.
“They stamped it didn’t they…those damn Gideons!”
