This knife was used in the first season of the HBO show Game of Thrones.
It can be seen used by the character Mirri Maz Duur the Godswife of Lhazareen. The ‘Witch’ that performs the blood magic to bring Khal Drogo back from the dead.
She can be seen using this knife to slice open the throat of the Khal’s Dothraki horse in a black-magic trade for his life to return.
This stunt SFX version of the prop is made from a flexible rubber for the actress Mia Soteriou to swing across the neck of the horse without the risk of harming herself or the animal.
It also contains a plastic tube that rungs along the inside to allow a spray of special effects blood to be sprayed from the end of the knife when required. Unfortunately the leather-wrap handle has been peeled off by the production for an unknown reason (though glue still remains)
