This is a hero version of the Giant Squid eggs seen in the 1998 movie Sphere.
These giant eggs are seen raining down on Dustin Hoffman and Sharon Stone when they are outside of the base collecting the body of Lt. Edmunds. These ‘hero’ versions feature a baby squid cast inside the silicone egg and were used for the up-close shots of the eggs.
